Job Description:

The intern will assist the attorneys in the Legal division with legal research and writing projects. They will attend meetings and interact with the attorneys in the department to support our agency clients. The intern will see administrative and agricultural law issues in action, will receive feedback on their writing and will get a solid sense of how a state agency legal department operates.

Job Duties:

Legal research and writing assistance with the work of the legal department for MDAR's divisions: Animal Health, Crop and Pest, Produce Safety, Agricultural Markets, and Division of Agricultural Conservation and Technical Assistance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Law Student

This internship is unpaid and designed to support students or recent graduates seeking practical experience in the field. Interns may be eligible to earn academic credit through their college or university.
